Peigons
Police in the state of Odisha want to keep communicating with carrier pigeons. While there were no phone wires, carrier pigeons were initially imported from Belgium in 1946. They can travel great distances swiftly and are trained to fly to certain locations. Written on paper, placed in a tiny plastic capsule, and tied to their foot are messages. A dedicated handler has trained 155 pigeons for the Odisha police force.
